Solar System Event Screen Saver
For Stellarium 11

Files:
Solar system screensaver.ssc

Instructions:

1) Download zip file
2) Extract the files
3) Run Stellarium
4) Run scripts
5) Run file
6) Sit back and watch

General Notes:

Not a real screen saver of course. You have to manually run it and stop it the same way as any other script.

*********************

Currently there are 171 events, I hope to continue to add more and periodically release updates

***********

I set the delay between events at 8 seconds. If it's too long or short for you, open the file in notepad and change the speed

***********

The order in which the events are displayed is random and should be different everytime you run the script.

*******************

On my home computer for version 10.4 after the script runs for awhile it has a tendency to crash. It appeared to be the the actual Stellarium program that is unstable and not any errors in the script. Version 10.5, 10.6 and 11.1 all seem to work much better.

***********************

Versions prior to 10.5 had a bug where you could not change altitude, so some events may be slightly off if you are using previous versions.

*************

My dates I calculated do seem to match other dates from a wide variety of sources, but I make no guarantee on accuracy.

I'm sure accuracy decreases the further back or forward in time any given script goes. Especially for Pluto.
