Moon - Earth Sun Transit from Jupiter
On 10-Jan-2026, both the Moon and Earth transit the sun from Jupiter. Here are 3 scripts that demonstrate these events. First script from Callisto, the only Galilean Satellite where both the Moon and Earth fully cross the sun. Second script from Io, where the Moon only grazes the sun (the Earth fully crosses it). The 3rd and final is from Jupiter, where one special spot high in the atmosphere where along with the Moon & Earth transit, there are also 3 Callisto eclipses the same day.
Currently only works with Stellarium 22.3 and 25.4. Works perfectly with 22.3, unfortunately sometime after that version the scripting engine in Stellarium became buggy. In version 25.4, much of the scripting engine issues seem to be fixed, except it still won't change landscape so for best results in script #3 from Jupiter you have to manually change landscape to Jupiter after the script runs.
